Privacy policy

The short version

You don't need an account to use Curbside Guide. We don't sell your information, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't set cookies of our own.

Page view counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views (for example, how many people opened a city's mattress page). It works without cookies and doesn't build a profile of you. We only look at totals.

"Request your city" form

If a city search finds nothing, you can ask us to add your city. We save the city and state you type, the search text and page you were on, the date and time, and your email only if you choose to give it. We use the email for one thing: telling you when your city's page is live. We don't add it to a newsletter or share it.

Searches that find nothing

When a city search finds no match, we save the search text and the date, with nothing that identifies you, so we know which cities to add next.

IP addresses

We don't store your IP address with any request or search. To stop spam, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) version of it as a counter, and that counter deletes itself after 15 minutes.

The chat helper

The helper bubble runs in your browser and only suggests links from this site. What you type there isn't sent to us.

Links to other sites

We link to official city sources and some stores. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Some store links may earn us a commission at no cost to you; see our affiliate disclosure.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic connection data to deliver pages and block attacks.

Deleting your information

To have your city request or email removed, email [email protected] with the email address or city you used, and we'll delete it.
